Academic Clinical Faculty Search, UCSF Department of Medicine and San Francisco VA Medical Center
The UCSF Department of Medicine is seeking academic clinical faculty members at all ranks in the Hospital Medicine division of the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Our faculty enjoy diverse clinical roles including direct clinical care in: Teaching and non-teaching services, Nocturnist roles, Surgical co-management and medical consultation, Perioperative integrated clinic, and the SFVAHCS Emergency Department. All faculty members are involved in scholarly activities in: Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, Educational and curricular development, global health and clinical health services research and epidemiology.
Candidates must be US citizens and board-eligible/certified in Internal Medicine with excellent clinical and communication skills. Candidates must also have a valid US medical license. Candidates for faculty positions in medical sub-specialties must have appropriate fellowship training and be board-eligible/certified.
