The Department of Radiology at Temple University School of Medicine announces the search for an On-Site Night Radiologist to join our faculty.
Our Night Radiologists perform services on-site at Temple University Hospital, a level 1 trauma center with over 90,000 ED visits per year and other TUHS affiliated sites. Clinical services including all emergency studies, neuro, musculoskeletal and body, and most imaging modalities (CT, MR, US, plain film, NM).
The position requires a strong interest in teaching as well as the supervision of Radiology Residents. An interest in publishing and participating in research is also desirable. Our Faculty Night Radiologists work the equivalent of 1 week on and 2 weeks off. The Department of Radiology at Temple University School of Medicine currently consists of approximately 42 FT clinical faculty who specialize in the following areas: abdominal imaging, mammography, neuroradiology, interventional radiology, interventional neuroradiology, nuclear medicine, musculoskeletal radiology, general radiology, and chest and cardiac imaging.
The clinical radiology service is based out of Temple University Hospital and also serves the Episcopal Hospital Campus, Northeastern Campus, and the Jeanes Hospital Campus. At the Fox Chase Cancer Center Campus there are currently 9 diagnostic radiologists that are employed by the Fox Chase Cancer Center Medical Group that provide all of the imaging services.
Candidate must be BC/BE Diagnostic Radiology
Fellowship training in neuro, body or MSK preferred
Must be comfortable with all emergency studies, including neuro, musculoskeletal and body, and most imaging modalities (CT, MR, US, plain film, NM)
