Orlando seeks to hire a Neurodiagnostics Technical Supervisor who will embrace our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.

Monday – Friday; 8:30pm – 4:30pm
The Neurodiagnostics Technical Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily technical operations of the department. Provides professional and technical support to staff, physicians, and managers to ensure efficient daily departmental operations. Develops and measures staff competencies, productivity standards, and quality assurance standards. Assures compliance with applicable departmental, hospital, and regulatory policies, procedures, and guidelines. Analyzes workloads/workflows and assigns staff to meet demand and improve operational efficiency. Performs procedures as needed. Performs clipping procedures, as needed. Establishes and maintains ethical working relationships and good rapport with stakeholders, such as physicians, hospital staff, and commercial agencies. Meets with customers, partners, and team members to assure service levels are maintained. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and to rules and regulations of applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.
Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of diverse backgrounds.
Ability to function independently with little or no supervision.
Ability to supervise and lead teams
Minimum general Associate's degree, preferably in healthcare related field; supervisory or leadership experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis
Minimum five (5) years END technical experience.
Minimum one year supervisory or leadership experience.
Graduate of a school of END Technology
Experience supervising a Seizure Monitoring Unit or Center for Sleep Disorders
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required:
Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist through the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) OR Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) OR Certification as a Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist through the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic & Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) OR equivalent.
BLS; CPR skills checked biennially
Registrations in multiple modalities, including Sleep, EEG, Long Term Monitoring, Evoked Potentials, Nerve Conductions, and/or Intra-operative Monitoring (Preferred)

Supervises daily operations and provides technical supervision of staff in neurodiagnostics to assure effective and efficient provision of quality diagnostic procedures following the established protocols
Assists in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified staff
Trains and orients new employees
Assists in evaluations, job competency, and educational development and assessments
Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure the smooth operation of the department
Actively supports and participates in department and hospital quality improvement initiatives as directed.
Participates in process or performance improvement team, and proactively initiates process improvement ideas.
Proactively recommends and implements process improvement initiatives.
Conducts quality diagnostic studies on patients ranging from newborn to geriatrics
Develops and measures staff competencies, productivity standards, and quality assurance standards
Ensures charges are entered accurately to capture services performed.

Ensures equipment is in good working condition and initiates appropriate contacts when repairs are required.
Adheres to hospital infection control and safety standards.
Conducts routine safety and environment of care checks
Develops and participates in employee engagement and patient satisfaction initiatives. Utilizes patient recovery resources when appropriate
Maintains a professional relationship with all customers. Maintains the confidentiality of employees, patients, administration, and medical staff.
Meets regularly with manager, actively participates on assigned teams, shares information with staff, assists with staff meetings, and attends other meetings as requested.
Communicates and collaborates with multidisciplinary team to ensure high quality patient care.
Attends monthly staff meetings.
Attends other meetings as requested.

Monitors overtime, call time absenteeism, tardiness, and time and attendance daily. Assists manager in developing and managing staff schedules.
Maintains continued professional growth, participates in on-going educational seminars or in-service programs.
Assess educational needs and develops educational plan to provide on-going training opportunities for team members.
Completes required hospital and licensure educational requirements
