Clinical Pharmacists at UPMC Pinnacle are responsible for providing patient care in specialty areas.
In collaboration with multidisciplinary care givers throughout our hospitals, the clinical pharmacist will monitor and optimize medication use; assist in development of medication-related policies and play a role in pharmacy education and competency activities related to Critical Care and ED; which may also include precepting students and PGY1 pharmacy Residents.
The position requires eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania and experience in a progressive hospital setting. The individual must possess excellent communication, organizational and planning skills as well as a high degree of personal motivation.
