Essential Functions: Teach undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate students.Serve as Assistant Residency Program Director for the DMC/SGH Emergency Medicine ResidencyAssist the Residency Program Director (PD) in assuring the program's excellence and delivery of the highest quality graduate medical education. Regularly participate in organized clinical discussions, rounds, journal clubs and conferences and demonstrate scholarship Participate in Curriculum development and maintenancePerform or provide support for research in emergency medicine, trauma and/or related areas of study.Provide service to the University, School, Department and other external professional and community agencies.
Qualifications: Medical degree from an accredited medical school required.Valid Michigan medical license required.Trained in Emergency Medicine residency program.Significant teaching experience in academic emergency medicine.Demonstrated commitment to diversity and equity.Knowledge of basic and/or clinical science research processes and procedures with demonstrated expertise as applicable.Ability to provide quality instruction to a variety of students.Demonstrated ethical conduct, professionalism, interpersonal skills and management abilities Rank commensurate with credentials.
