Essential Functions: This position facilitates research activities within the Department of Emergency Medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine. Responsibilities include the development and maintenance of databases such as REDCap and Oncore. This individual will be responsible for data quality and management alongside our analytics support staff. This individual may author/co-author manuscripts submitted to peer-reviewed journals and other publications and may present research findings at scientific meetings. This position will require on call, weekend and off shift assignments. Work as a member of the team within the established Clinical Research infrastructure and high level teamwork environment. The ideal candidate will have had previous and established clinical research trial experience, preferably in Emergency Medicine and/or another Critical Care setting with preference to those with clinical trial management experience. Collects documents and maintains data to assist investigators in implementing research protocols while remaining on targeted timelines.Provide trainings to staff to ensure proper use of database software. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a healthcare, medical or science related field. Master's degree preferred
