Provide direct patient care to multiple surgical population (ICU, general care and OP). Maintain patient's airway, VS/I&O. Monitor EKG, arterial line, PA catheter, etc. Pain management (PCA and Epidural). Participate as a member of the collaborative health team. Provide patient/family education. Prepare unit for Pre-op patients (IV set-up review charts for H&P, consent, etc.). Provide direct care for Pre-op patients.
Current licensure to practice nursing in the state of Michigan.
1 year Adult PACU experience within the last 5 years, including telemetry patient care.
2 years of surgical care experience within the last 5 years.
Knowledge of multiple surgical procedures.

Salary & Nursing Framework Level: This UMPNC RN posting is posted as Nursing Framework LEVEL C, includes B. Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire. Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level E.
