Demonstrates correct operation of mechanical equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers and carpet cleaners.
Maintains daily standard quantity of supplies on cart and closet to ensure uninterrupted work flow.
Adheres to all precautions, policies and procedures for handling infectious wastes, hazardous materials and waste spills or exposure.
Demonstrates the correct use of various department chemicals.
Correctly follows hospital procedures for isolation room dressing and cleaning precautions.
Completes 7 step room cleaning procedures correctly and in order.
