Director experience in Emergency Department or Emergency Services Service Line strongly preferred. 1+ years of recent Director or, 5+ years of recent Associate/Assistant Director experience strongly preferred.

The Emergency Services Senior Director will provide leadership for our UCHealth Emergency Departments, EMS division and Mountain Crest Behavioral Hospital. The Senior Director will oversee three Emergency Department in Fort Collins and Loveland and is responsible for a total of 100,000 annual patient visits, 150 FTE's and an overall budget of $14,000,000. The UCHealth EMS division provides 911 service for Fort Collins, Wellington, Windsor, Severance, Johnstown and Milliken, an air and ground critical care division all-encompassing a total of 2,300 square miles in Northern Colorado. The EMS division handles 32,000 annual 911 calls, consists of 150 FTE's with an overall budget of 12,000,000. Mountain Crest Behavioral Hospital cares for acute patients and out-patients in several clinics surrounding northern Colorado. They care for 25,000 annual patients' visits and employ 133 FTE's.
The Senior Director will be responsible for continual improvement of quality metrics, staff and patients experience outcomes, safety and all regulatory standards. This position will work closely with the Directors of the ED's, EMS and Mountain Crest Behavioral Hospital and our Physician partners.
Directs the strategic, growth and operational objectives for Emergency Services for Poudre Valley Hospital, Medical Center of the Rockies, freestanding emergency departments, and Emergency Medical Services for the Northern Colorado Region. Oversees improvement initiatives to achieve quality patient care. Directs program development, performance management, personnel activities, budget, and provision of services.
Directs strategic, growth and operational objectives. Integrates the department's outpatient services and strategic plan with the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Oversees department operations. Develops and empowers the management team to lead daily operations, resolve issues, manage employee performance, manage physician relations, ensure high-quality patient care and service excellence, and ensure operational efficiencies. Maintains high engagement and accountability environments, where employees have an opportunity for job satisfaction and participation.
Master's degree in a relevant field.
5 years of relevant experience.
Leadership experience in an Emergency services environment.
