Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Associate Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst.
In this role, The Revenue Cycle Systems (RCS) team is a key stakeholder of NYU Langone Health¿s dynamic Revenue Cycle. With collaborative efforts across the organization, RCS plays a pivotal role in bridging healthcare IT with operational end users. The RCS Analyst is responsible for assisting and troubleshooting, testing and resolving systematic issues under the supervision of the RCS Lead Analyst. Duties and responsibilities of the RCS Analyst include, but are not limited to: (1) system configuration (2) daily reconciliation between RCO applications and (3) understanding of revenue cycle processes and workflows
Provides routine maintenance support of the various revenue cycle applications.
Performs charge error maintenance build and reporting
Develops analytical skills through troubleshooting reported production issues
Reconciles claim volume between internal systems and third party vendors
Displays good judgment by using critical thinking and data analysis prior to escalating ideas and/or issues to the Management team.
Identifies personal strengths and weaknesses through reflection and acceptance of feedback and/or constructive criticism.
Minimum of one year in hospital revenue cycle operations or healthcare technology related field.
Preferred Qualifications: Masters Degree.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
