Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Assistant Project Manager.
Position Summary:The Assistant Project Manager will assist the Project Manager throughout the project lifecycle, and will perform project management tasks related to scope definition, budget preparation, bidding, and construction administration.
Maintaining, developing and implementing project plan including definition, scope, budgets, schedules.
Entering project data and schedules, and initiating contracts, change orders and payments in RED+Fs workflow and project management data systems (Unifier and PIM).
Coordinating project meetings with NYU in-house personnel to schedule work, coordinate shutdowns, tie-ins and contractor access.
Specific tasks may include:Helping to create presentations for project meetingsSupporting the Project Manager in managing design consultants and coordinating in-house design reviewsAssisting Project Manager in reviewing bids and other relevant documents Helping the Project Manager in the facilitation of client meetings
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field - OR - Bachelors degree in un-related field and 1-3 years prior experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:Professional Registration (PE or RA).Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field and 1-3 years experience in project management experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
