Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Manager.
In this role, the successful candidate The Project Manager for Network Integration will be responsible for the successful planning and execution of multiple projects related to the strategic work of Network Integration and initiatives of NYU Langone Health System. This position is responsible for defining scope, managing complex project dependencies, planning for resource needs, and supporting projects through completion.
Manage and support other work efforts as assigned
Act as a professional role model and lead to other project coordinators
Think creatively to solve immediate and long term problems
Accountable for the timely and successful completion of projects
Build positive working relationships and serve as representative of the department at internal and external project workgroups and stakeholder meetings
Develop process and outcome metrics to measure project success
Manage and facilitate project meetings to ensure progress of project and meet key deadlines
Develop project plans and charters, and utilize project management tools to facilitate progress and measure outcomes
Create and manage operational budgets as needed for projects
Analyze data to support project development, decision making, and performance
Synthesize complex data and work processes, and create visual displays for internal and external audiences
Manage project communication with impacted areas across the enterprise and partnered organizations
Identify and account for complex project dependencies, and communicate effectively to stakeholders
Lead, plan, manage and execute multiple interdepartmental and inter-organizational projects as determined by departmental leadership
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Masters degree in healthcare related field At least five years experience managing projects and/or experience in healthcare Demonstrated ability to lead and support a wide array of projects to successful completion Excellent analytical, research, and organizational skills, with demonstrated versatility and initiative Comfort taking initiative and being self-directed Strong computer skills and facility with Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Project; familiarity with Tableau, Visio, and Access a plus Excellent written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated ability to adapt tone and style for broad and diverse audiences Knowledge and understanding of healthcare reform, shared savings arrangements, population health, and innovative delivery of care models
