Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Quality Assurance Coord (37.5).
In this role, the successful candidate will perform various QA functions for the department as outlined below.

Provide leadership and strategy in line with global strategic objectives as assigned by leadership
Ensure that investigator, vendor, facility and system audits are conducted. Identifies and communicates any critical compliance risks noted from these activities to sr management
Keep up to date with all related quality legislation and compliance issues. Assume a lead role for the preparation, conduct and responses to regulatory agency. Ensure regulatory rules are communicated through corporate policies and procedures. Document internal regulatory processes. Compile and prepare materials for submission to regulatory agencies. Maybe involved in survey preparedness
Analyzes various data sources to identify any areas of quality improvement. Manages databased for quality systems and other measures (i.e. genetic testing database). Responsible for MD WQs, and acts as the go-to person for troubleshooting Epic, and other MD-used programs.
Responsible for verifying and ensuring completeness of all insurance and legal chart requests, and compiles and verifies all info with MDs prior to sending. Audits information and identifies gaps and common trends. Works with staff and management to ensure retraining on common mistakes as needed.
Reviews, audits and analyzes various quality levels of staff, systems and production activities and provides reports on findings to leadership.
Identifies and creates annual trend reports as it relates to quality from various databases, including but not limited to EPIC
Participates in improvement programs, including but not limited to evaluating quality events, incidents, queries and complaints and provide recommendations as applicable.
1. Bachelor degree or equivalent in business administration, health care administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
2. Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook. Familiar with Internet applications.
4. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and must work and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently.
5. Time management skills and ability to work well under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous Healthcare experience. Bi-lingual Russian language preferred.
