We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Financial Analyst.
In this role, the successful candidate The Financial Analyst is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and sub-ledgers. These functions include but are not limited to balance sheet reconciliation, sub ledger maintenance, creating and entering journal entries, assisting with service centers monthly reconciliation/processing and monitoring variance analysis. The candidate should display a broad understanding of accounting and/or finance. In addition, the candidate should demonstrate strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects.
Under the direction of the Assistant Director & Manager of Finance Operations this position will be responsible for the day-to-day management of debt management including but not limited to updating all debt schedules including debt roll-forward schedules, interest schedules, setting up lease documents, payments and amortization schedules.
This would include processing all journal entries, account reconciliations and cost transfers, as needed
Work closely with the Financial Reporting group, providing explanations for variances on financial information and coordinates with other financial areas
Ensures that financial policies and procedures are followed
Act independently and prioritizes task to meet assigned deadlines
Assist with all request for Fiscal Year, A-133 and internal audits
Assists with special projects as necessary, Manages multiple tasks and projects
To qualify you must have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area 2-3 years in accounting and finance or in a related area required
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
