Seeking a seventh neonatologist to join our team of physicians and NNPs providing care at two Level-III NICUs in Reno, Nevada:
Renown Children's Hospital is partnered with Stanford University and has a 39-bed Level-III NICU with over 400 admissions per year
St. Mary's Regional Medical Center has a 29-bed Level-III NICU with 150 admissions per year
We serve as the Regional Referral Center for rural Northern Nevada and areas of Northern California
We direct our own neonatal transport team staffed by NNPs, NICU RNs and RTs
Services include high-frequency jet and oscillators, conventional ventilators, iNO and cooling for HIE
In addition to maternal-fetal medicine, our team enjoys full pediatric subspecialty support
With a thriving quality improvement program and access to Mednax's Clinical Data Warehouse, there is opportunity and support for projects and research
Renown Children's Hospital is partnering with University of Nevada, Reno to create a Pediatric Residency Program, the first in Northern Nevada. Residents and medical students will be rotating through our NICU, and there will be exciting opportunities to help shape the program
