The Department of Behavioral Medicine is seeking a General Psychiatrist for a fulltime academic position as Assistant Professor at the Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center, West Virginia University, Charleston Division.
Inpatient care of both 6-East, hospital consults, ECT coverage.
Emergency room coverage.
Supervision of the residents, medical students, and other learners.
Day/night/weekend call duties are required.
Seeing clinical outpatients and serving as an attending for residents, medical students, and other learners in the outpatient setting.
Coverage for colleagues in the department as required.
Presentation of medical/educational lectures and providing scholarly activities that promote the overall well being of the Department and sponsoring institutions will also be necessary. this includes but is not limited to publications. Other duties will be assigned as is necessary
