The University of South Carolina Global Health Fellowship is an innovative program that will substantially expand a physician’s efforts to advance health around the world through research, education, and clinical service.
This is a two-year program which partners with the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, the Arnold School of Public Health, Palmetto Health Richland Hospital, and Fairfield Memorial Hospital, as well as international partners to focus on strengthening primary care capacity in developing nations.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Qualified applicants must have a MD/DO degree. Applicants must be board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine by the anticipated start date of the fellowship program. Applicants who have completed residencies in specialties such as Internal Medicine, Internal Medicine/Pediatrics, or Emergency Medicine may also be considered.
